Sakuma Law Office was founded in 2002 near Shinjuku-gyoen garden in Shinjuku ward, in Tokyo, Japan. We provide legal services for both business clients, such as companies or personal business, and individual clients on daily legal problems including family problems, such as divorce, inheritance and immigration.

Our Service

Dispute Resolution

Like many other law firms and law offices in Japan, we provide attorney service for clients in litigations or mediations at courts and advise how to argue the case for their possible most desirable results. We also deal with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures at certain organizations other than courts.

Legal Counseling

At our legal counseling, we advise clients who have legal troubles with others what measures the clients can take and how to deal with such legal troubles.

Consulting

Along with legal counseling, we provide consulting service for clients who currently have no legal troubles but would like to avoid disputes with others, by drafting and reviewing contracts for commercial transactions as well as negotiations between the parties who would like to have or keep good business or personal relationships.

Bilingual Service

While most of small and medium-sized law offices or law firms in Japan provide their legal services on Japanese laws in Japanese language only, an attorney in our office can communicate with clients in both Japanese and English.
