The following list is links to information about special benefits relevant to COVID-19 pandemic to be provided by local governments in Japan.

Niigata Prefecture

Notice of subvention

100,000 yen per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Niigata City

Notice of subvention

100,000 yen, or 200,000 yen if having plural faciliities within the city, per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor operating

  • restaurant and reduced its business hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture; or
  • bar, cabaret or nightclub and closed its business temporarily in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Notice of subvention

Two thirds of reduced rent amount for the period from February to May of 2020 (up to 200,000 yen per landlord) for the landlords who reduced the rent from the tenants as small or medium-sized enterprises operating

  • businesses in the buildings rent to the tenants who closed their businesses in compliance with the requests from the prefecture; or
  • restaurants in the buildings rent to the tenants who reduced their business hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Toyama Prefecture

For small and medium-sized enterprises,

  • 500,000 yen per such enterprise that closed its business temporarily in compliance with the requests from the prefecture
  • 250,000 yen per such enterprise operating restaurant that reduced its business hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

For sole proprietors,

  • 200,000 yen per sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily in compliance with the requests from the prefecture
  • 100,000 yen per sole proprietor operating restaurant that reduced its business hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Ishikawa Prefecture

Notice of subvention

  • 500,000 yen per small and medium-sized enterprise
  • 200,000 yen per sole proprietor

that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Fukui Prefecture

Notice of subvention

For small and medium-sized enterprises,

  • 500,000 yen per such enterprise that closed its business temporarily in compliance with the requests from the prefecture
  • 250,000 yen per such enterprise operating restaurant that reduced its business hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

For sole proprietors,

  • 200,000 yen per sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily in compliance with the requests from the prefecture
  • 100,000 yen per sole proprietor operating restaurant that reduced its business hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Nagano Prefecture

300,000 yen per business operator that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Gifu Prefecture

Notice of subvention

500,000 yen per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Shizuoka Prefecture

Fujieda City

Notice of subvention

For small and medium-sized enterprises including sole proprietor that closed their businesses temporarily in compliance with the requests from the prefecture or the city,

  • 300,000 yen per such enterprise that closed its business temporarily in compliance with the requests from the city only
  • 100,000 yen per such enterprise that closed its business temporarily in compliance with the requests from the prefecture, in addition to the 200,000 yen subvention from the prefecture

Kosai City

Notice of subvention

500,000 yen per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in compliance with the requests from the city

Aichi Prefecture

Notice of subvention

500,000 yen per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor, incorporated non-profit organization or some other kinds of corporation that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in compliance with the requests from the prefecture

Toyohashi City

Notice of subvention

250,000 yen per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in response to the requests from the prefecture, but did not fulfill its required conditions of reduced operating hours or closing period.

Gamagori City

Notice of subvention

250,000 yen per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in response to the requests from the prefecture, but did not fulfill its required conditions of reduced operating hours or closing period.

Inuyama City

Notice of subvention

150,000 yen per small or medium-sized enterprise including sole proprietor that closed its business temporarily or reduced its operating hours in response to the requests from the prefecture, but did not fulfill its required conditions of reduced operating hours or closing period.

Owariasahi City
